DEAN HOMES Hosts Disaster Preparedness and Home
Safety Tour With The American Red Cross and Seattle Lighthouse for the
Blind.
As a partner to the American Red Cross and Seattle
Lighthouse for the Blind, Dean Homes provided a newly completed golf
course home at the Reserve at Newcastle the evening of February 20 to
host a disaster preparedness and home safety tour for a crowd of more
than 60 people including deaf and blind individuals and their
interpreters.
The tour consisted of hands on training including—turning
off gas and electricity, using the water heater as an emergency source
of water, putting out small cooking fires, and securing home décor in
case of an earthquake.
